The second room was much more convenient with a blocked sink promptly repaired. However, we encountered high beds and burn marks on the top covers in the first room, along with street people nearby.

Not exactly a vacation paradise but doable
Had a decent night's sleep, the owner's son really helped us check in late which is something you don’t see every day. Met the owner next day and he gave us some good food recommendations that were actually worth it.

Friendly check-in staff was a small highlight during my family's brief stay in a double room. The convenience of the lower-level room was appreciated, especially with two small children, though several issues arose. The beds were a normal height, but previous burn marks on the covers were concerning, and we encountered a blocked sink that was promptly repaired. Walking around, we noticed some street people nearby, which was unsettling for our younger kids.

Unfortunately, my stay was regrettable. I was given room number 20, which was utterly unlivable due to excessive mold, causing my son to cough throughout the night. When I asked for assistance and a discount due to the unbearable smell, the staff dismissed my concerns and moved us to room number 11, which was just as moldy. This experience left us disappointed and uncomfortable.

The location was convenient for exploring Miami. My kids loved the nearby beach and pool area, which provided plenty of fun during our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly, making us feel welcome.
My children wished the place was cleaner and quieter, as it was a bit noisy at night. A better soundproofing would greatly help families with children.

The room was clean and spacious, but the
overall experience was hindered by excessive noise from outside. The check-in staff were friendly, which was a plus, but the thin walls made it hard to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.

Comfortable beds and friendly service
The beds were incredibly comfortable and much higher quality than I expected for this price point. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were extremely welcoming. However, the cleanliness of my room was concerning, especially in the bathroom area, and it could definitely use some attention.

missingWrote a review on Mar 30moldy room
Room quality left much to be desired. there were multiple reports of mold, and the cleaning standards seemed questionable at best. Some rooms had various issues like unpleasant odors that lingered, not to mention that photos online don’t match the reality. Disturbances from outside noises made sleeping challenging—the walls are thin, and the doors felt flimsy. Additionally, a significant lack of towels and some basic amenities added to the inconvenience, which could leave you looking for more comfort.

The place offers a decent stay for budget travelers. While the room was clean and spacious, the AC was quite noisy. Arriving early was a plus, and despite a few bugs roaming about, the owners were kind and helpful, making the experience better than expected.

I stayed for one night before my cruise and found a couple of highlights. The room was clean and had decent AC, which kept us comfortable. The owners were very friendly and provided some solid recommendations for nearby places to eat. The cafe across the street, starting with an 'E,' was a gem for breakfast and coffee. However, parking was a challenge. There was limited space, and only parallel parking was available on our side of the street—that made things a bit tricky. We couldn’t check in early, not that it was a huge issue since I knew the check-in time beforehand. Overall, the experience was worth it, especially for the price and its proximity to the cruise terminal.

Great Family Experience with Room for Improvement
The staff was very accommodating, allowing us early check-in and helping with our luggage. The room had a cozy feel but needed attention—some maintenance is required. Proximity to local shops was convenient. Consider bringing your own cleaning supplies if you need more comfort during your stay.
